Boys Suck - Yes It's True
By Noranna Yasmin
I've been reading too many stupid articles on the reasons why girls suck. OK, these guys might be
right but these girls are probably preppy, popular little bitches who don't
know better.
Guys suck because of too many annoying relationships.
Here is an example:
Owen, where are thou, Owen?
Owen was a typical nice, emo kid. I loved him. We were together for almost 4
months. I reckon I had the best relationship with him. I learned a lot from
myself from him. However, it wasn't all happy bunnies, butterflies and
sunshine. He was nice and understanding. He read me 'Midsummer Night's
Dream' as a bedtime story. Sweet, yes. He could play acoustic guitar and
sang to me cool love songs. Awesome, yes. Why did we break up?
Well, he didn't love me. He liked me a lot but he couldn't see us being
together forever. And you know what? I felt the same way. However, he starts
going out with beautiful, popular, blonde, skinny Lauren after only 2 weeks
of us breaking up. And he has the nerved to sleep with her only after 2
weeks of dating. Hey, we didn't even sleep with each other and we were
together for 4 months! And we promised to be best friends after breaking up,
we were for 2 weeks until he met Lauren. And Lauren is the typical bitchy,
annoying girl, teenybopper freak! Argh!
I actually felt annoyed that Owen was starting to ignore me so I sent him a
tape of me singing and playing guitar/bass to HELLO & GOODBYE by The Ataris.
He called me and said he thought it was "cute" but he was with Lauren now. I
didn't want to get back with him. I just wanted him to realise my existence
as a friend. Owen and I used to interpret lyrics and cry to our favourite
songs together. Of course, now, he's conforming to the annoying pop songs on
the radio.
Boys suck.
Why do they always follow around and fall for the knock-out girls who treat
them like shit when there is a girl who'll buy them flowers, sing them nice
emo punk rock songs and actually loves them. No, they find these sort of
girls as "best friends" or as a "sister".
Damn you all boys.
And yes, he's still ignoring me and didn't even call up to say HAPPY
BIRTHDAY. Boys suck.
