I just want to say thanks to all the readers. About this time last year was when I had an argument with my friend and built a meager website. I didn't think I'd still be doing it and people would actually look at it and be receptive. Thanks to everyone. You are all my Valentine (how lame).

A lot of people sign the guestbook here at Girls Are Evil. I think the funniest signings the site gets is from people who argue "yeah some girls are evil but guys are evil too, you have to admit that." I do admit that a lot of guys are jerks, but why would a teenage guy (and a group of guys) choose to make a site about how their own sex is evil. We nice guys could give a shit about the asshole guys in the world. We are here to rant and rave about the girls who break our hearts, not the jerk guys who treat girls badly. While I feel for you ladies out there, and understand your argument, I don't think that I'm going to argue how I hate guys for hurting girls. I hate those girls for falling for such simple lies.
And I loved one guys argument, that evil guys know they are assholes and they pride themselves in hurting girls, but evil girls truly think they aren't doing anything wrong. That is what is evil.
In other news, Dashboard Confessional's video is playing on MTV2 and Saves the Day is on the cover of Alternative Press. The article inside is actually good in my opinion. I, unlike most "fans" say congratulations to those guys for opening peoples eyes to their fantastic music. More power to them, I think. They are doing what they love and getting recognition for it. I hope I can someday say the same.
I'm working on new hosting, and new and improved sections for the site, so bear with me. And I put that Crossroads poster there because I think it's funny. No: I don't endorse her film, but Yes: I do think she's hot.

So Freeservers is stupid and has changed it's free hosting offers, basically trying to force any decent site on its server to pay for upgrades. Rather than pay for their stupid overpriced upgrades, I'll probably find a real host and make this site legit (off a free host). this girl i met through my best friend(partially evil) who lived in a state
away, i met her and we seemingly hit it off, she came to my town again and
this time she acted all distant and made it appear as if she didnt even want
to speak to me or be there, we had an online/phone relationship for another
month, then without notice she promptly dropped me out of nowhere and i was
never given a reason, i was broken, i couldnt talk to anyone but my closest
friend for a week, during this time i found out she constantly talked about
me behind my back, told everyone i wasnt good enough for her, and only wanted
me to boost her self esteem. she is the most evil girl i will ever know.

Welcome back to the New Year. I just got back to school, my precious computer with its fast speed internet connection, and a full inbox of articles and other fun.
I made some fun videos, including a hot music video for the North Carolina emo-punk gods EVERAFTER which will be displayed once it's edited and finds some space for storage on the net.
On that note, I am looking for some free hosting for videos, music and other large files if anyone with webspace to spare is willing. If you are, you rock, and you should email me.

First, the mail section has been updated, and second, we've got three (that's right) new poetry submissions from Melissa Souza and a kid who just called himself Ant. Check those out in the Original Lyrics section. Plus, according to the poll on the left, the readers want more articles and more Frat Boy Trevor. I talked to Trevor the other day, he said "Fo shizzi, I'll hit up yo site after break with a new video adventure!! Bitch." Look out for that in 2002. I wasn't totally sure it was time to put up the Girls Are Evil Online Store but I have decided to offer some merch now. I am using this service called CafePress, which makes shirts for you. Check it out if you want to sell some t-shirts with your logo on them. However, they do sell their stuff at prices that are a little steep for t-shirts. It's all I can do right now; someday I'll have better merchandise. Right now, peruse the stuff and see if you like it. If you dislike the logos or artwork and want something else on the shirt, email me and let me know your ideas. Thanks.

If you recently discovered some junk mail or a forward from someone you didn't recognize in your email box lately, that is because someone on the Girls Are Evil mailing list has used the list to send out mail. I sent this person an email (below) and hopefully they will stop using the list to send spam anymore. Apologies to anyone who got mail and got angry about it. Also, if anyone knows of a good listserv service or somewhere I can set up a proper mailing list, email me.

This is Dan who runs Girls Are Evil. A friend of mine as well as myself noticed that we have been getting forwards and spam mail from your address. Looking over the list of emails that the mail has been sent to, I've noticed that you are using the email list from Girls Are Evil in order to send out these mails. I've gotten emails with these subjects:
Fwd: PLEEEEASE READ! and FREE CONDOMS! You gotta try this...
I don't know if this was a mistake because you just fowarded these messages to the people on your mailing list, and maybe you accidently put all the Girls Are Evil addresses into your account. Regardless, it isn't right to use a mailing list in order to send spam mail. Not everyone is interested in the mail you are sending, and they consider it rude. Also, it reflects badly on me and my site because people assume that the mail is connected to me. They feel that they put their address on my mailing list in order to receive updates on the site, and it angers them to see their email address used for receiving spam mail from other readers.
I would appreciate it very much if you did not continue to attach all the names off the Girls Are Evil mailing list to your forwards and other emails. People have told me that they do not appreciate it. Please stop using the mailing list in order to send spam mail and forwards.
