I sent out the final Survivor questions out to the two finalists - Dawn and Marisa - so look out for their answers soon, and the final vote to see who is the ultimate exception to the Girls Are Evil rule!
I want some help from the other girls who participated. I want them to send in their endorsements of one of the final two girls. I don't have their emails anymore so I can't contact them. So if you read this, and you were one of the eliminated girls, please email the Survivor address and give your endorsement. I also might want you all to write something about the contest after it's all finished. Rock.

9.18.01 | It's Official: I'm a Computer Nerd |
Alright, let's try to get things going again. Things sure have been hectic. On top of all the tragedy and chaos, I've started a job as a paid web assistant for my school's paper. I have joined the rankings of the computer nerd. Who woulda thought that a year ago when I didn't know a single html tag that I'd actually make some money off of it? But I digress. I've got a lot of news about future plans for this website. But first, a mail update. Wowzers!
I don't want to speak too soon, but I've been talking with Sara (Our Favorite Evil Girl), and she's got major plans. I shouldn't reveal too much, but let's just say: Evil girls + digital camcorder = Fun!
I haven't forgotten about Survivor and I hope you all haven't too. The final round should take place soon.
Anyone remember my T-Shirt idea? I'm still looking into that, but I'm still in need of a cartoon for the shirt front. If you're an artist and you're interested, email me.
Finally, has everyone seen this short animated film by Don Hertzfeld that's circling the net? If not, it's the perfect explanation of what us guys go through, and it's utterly hilarious. I contacted his website about the film but they told me they don't want the bootleg copy on the net. Luckily, I found a place where it was posted so check it out there.

9.11.01 | More Important Matters |
As everyone knows, the U.S. suffered one of its strongest blows this morning. We have just witnessed the largest terrorist attack in our history. I have been here in DC and it has been very hectic and crazy, with all the students trying to contact frantic parents or relatives, some searching for people who may have been involved in the World Trade Center attack. I urge everyone to keep those involved and their families in their prayers. I probably won't focus on this site until the insanity here calms down. I hope everyone who reads this site is safe, along with their families. Talk to you all soon.

 Melissa pulled past Marisa for the most votes, and at 10 PM tonight, they were separated by 3 small votes. It's the closest race in Survivor history. We have to bit farewell to Melissa now, but I personally hope she doesn't stop giving her insights here on the site.

So everyone is getting back to school now? I don't know about you, but I'm excited. I have a book for my Film Class with the movie Gladiator on the cover. Ah, academia.
Round Four of Evil Girl Survivor is completed, and Stacey has become the next exile. The next set of questions will be soon, but I can't guarantee anything since we're all getting settled back into going to class and such.

Marisa came out on top in the Immunity Challenge, and thus she is exempt from being voted off in the next round. Congrats to her. All the girls got all the questions right, but she pulled ahead with the bonus question. I thought the questions would be harder than they ended up being.
The questions for Week Four are now posted, and I am awaiting the answers from the remaining contestants. Check out Evil Girl Survivor.
On another note, everyone must go see JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK next week (I'll most likely be at the sneak preview tonight). And if you want a great movie to rent, check out the film PSYCHO BEACH PARTY: it is classic hilarity!!

I've decided to mix things up with the Evil Girl Survivor contest. On the real Survivor, they always have their Immunity Challenges, where a team can win Immunity from voting off another teammate. I decided to have my own GIRLS ARE EVIL IMMUNITY CHALLENGE. I left the girls some matching questions about movies, music, and this site, and to the girl who gets the most right goes Immunity... she won't be able to be voted off in the next round. Head over to the Survivor page and check out the answers from the five remaining contestants, and vote now. We have our work cut out for us. The answers are quite similar, and none are overtly evil. You'll have to look beyond the surface to discover the evil left in these girls.
I searched the Internet extensively for a picture of "Boner" from TV's Growing Pains for this update. Even more disturbing than the fact that I wanted a pic of him for this update is the fact that there are literally probably 50 sites dedicated to Growing Pains.

7.28.01 | Didn't Like Fight Club? Blasphemers... |
--- Evil Girl Survivor: Week Two ---
Voting is now open for Survivor: Week Two. The girls responded to the questions and are ready to go head to head to see who will be the next exile. Unforetunately, one girl - Allison - did not respond to the questions I emailed to the group, or to the follow up I sent her. Chances are she is on vacation or away from computer access at the moment, but the contest couldn't wait, and it would be unfair for the other contestants if I let her continue. So, with that in mind, I had to exile her. Two down, six to go.
I feel the need to explain some of the questions asked. These weren't excited or hard-hitting questions by any standard, they were just something to get the ball rolling. In regards to the last two, any one who wanted to play the strategy game should have understood the meaning of Did you see the movie Fight Club?. If you read the articles on the site, you probably read this one written by yours truly. Knowing about this movie will get you in my good graces for sure (Marisa, way to go... Stephanie, you blasphemer!). Anyways, and the NSync question was just morbid curiosity, and the questions were released the day the album came out. Just thought it was a funny link.

Murder in Small Town X premiered on Fox tonight. I wonder how much they paid to rent out the use of a whole town for shooting. The acting on the show is awful.

Returned from vacation to find a full inbox, an active message board and a gripping contest underway. I am very happy with that. Evil Girl Survivor Week One concluded, and I have to officially say farewell to one of our brave girls. Unforetunately for Laura, she gained the most votes and is hereby exiled from the Girls Are Evil Island (metaphorically speaking). We thank her so much for participating and being a good sport about letting random people judge her.
In other Survivor news, Shawna trailed close behind and will have to prove herself if she doesn't want to be the next exile, and Dawn seems to be the favorite in the race and the one gaining the least votes.
Week Two will begin in a day or two. I will email some questions to the remaining contestants then post them on the site. The girls will answer and another Tribal Counsel will be set up for voting. The game continues...

Go to the Survivor page and get the contest started. Check out the bios of the 8 girls that I have chosen to take part (sorry to Crystal, I never got word back from you on a picture). Read their bios and admissions of evil, check out any submissions from them, and then go to the Tribal Counsel and vote for the girl you think is the evilest. On approximately July 22nd, we will find out who is the first to get kicked off the "island". The suspense is killing me.
In Other News: There are a lot of articles coming up, including two great ones from Jake and from other readers. The next update will be around the 22nd (when I get back from vacation). If I pick up any evil ladies at the beach, I'll take pictures or video of them and post it when I get back. Rad!
